The Transformational Journey Academy offers full courses, e-books, and other materials geared toward the professional caregiver. Here you will find trainings, courses, textbooks, and other content dealing with theory and practice concerning Transformational Approaches to counseling. We are committed to producing and making available for purchase skilled, competent and high quality materials for the professional caregiver. Coming later in 2017, we will make a membership subscription available for our materials.
Content geared toward the professional counselor consists of in-depth training, taking into account the professional counselor’s clinical knowledge, skills, and experience. For example, we show you how to integrate clinical training with transformational approaches, addressing questions related to continuity and discontinuity between differing paradigms. You will gain confidence in both the theory and the practice of applied Christian principles and practices rooted in millennia of Christian spiritual and practical disciplines that lead to healing and wholeness.
For pastors we produce transformational content that helps meet your pastoral counseling needs. We want you to feel confident using clearly communicated videos, e-book materials and mini-courses that will enhance your ministry. You will see the change that can take place from the inside-out as you help others meet Christ at the point of their pain and struggles, in which Christ shapes souls to thrive in healthy, and wholesome ways.
Lay Counselors have access to material directed to their ministries. Given their training and preparation for assisting pastoral staff in meeting congregational counseling needs, we offer anything from individual videos to mini-courses that assist and equip lay counselors in facilitating transformational prayer with those they counsel. Materials will guide lay counselors when they encounter difficulties such as what to do when a person does not want to pray due to fear of being vulnerable, or when counselees experience blocks or an inability to receive.
For the caregiver, we provide materials that will equip them to facilitate transformational prayer in their ministry to others. For example, caregivers may want to provide this approach in the context of small groups. Even with family members, caregivers can provide the guidance necessary to help friends and loved ones meet God in safe places, positioning them to receive true healing and experience real change that leads to wholeness and inner peace.
