We believe in one God in three Persons. God the Father is the Source of the Persons. God the Son is eternally begotten of God the Father. God the Holy Spirit eternally proceeds from God the Father. All three Persons share in the same essence of God. God created all that exists. All Three Persons were involved in the creation of both material and immaterial creation.
God the Son, who is eternally begotten from the Father, is of the same and one essence of God the Father: fully and truly God. The Son was incarnate, made truly and fully human while remaining fully God, by the power of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin, Mary. God the Son, who is the Lord Jesus Christ, became fully human while remaining fully God, for the sake of our salvation and the restoration of all creation.
God the Holy Spirit also shares fully in the essence of God. The Holy Spirit and the Son are described by Irenaeus, an early Church Father, as being the two hands of God. Through the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Father created all things, sustains all things, and has worked out salvation for humans and all of creation.
God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was crucified, suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day, He resurrected from the dead in a glorified body. He has defeated the powers of evil, has destroyed death, and has fulfilled all of the requirements of righteousness, making possible the rescue of humans and all creation from sin, death, and evil.

Jesus Christ has ascended into heaven; He is in a state of glory, reigning with God the Father. He will return a second time to earth, in order to bring to completion His work of rescuing humanity and creation. At that time, He will establish His Kingdom forever and will judge the living and the dead, as well as renew all of creation as part of the establishment of His eternal Kingdom.
Mankind is the creation of God. Humans were made good, in the image of God, and given the grace of God, the presence of the Holy Spirit. Human beings have refused the love of God and sought to live life without reference to God. As a result, humans became fallen: the good nature God gave them, the image of God in them, has become corrupted and ill from moving away from God. In fact, humans have been moving toward death since walking away from God. Creation as a whole fell with mankind, since creation and humans share in the same material nature.
God has provided the way for humans to be healed of their deep illnesses, to be rescued from death, and from the power of the devil and evil. Through the initiative and love of God the Father, the Son clothed himself in our humanity, while remaining God, and shared in the human condition, yet was without sin. Through His life, His teachings, His miracles, His death, resurrection, glorification and ascension into heaven, Jesus Christ the Son of God has healed human nature, restored it to its original beauty. Each human being must consciously choose to enter into loving communion with Jesus Christ, to appropriate His saving work, and to join the life of God the Father and the Holy Spirit through communion with Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit was poured out on the first Christians in order to empower them to live the new life of those who are in Christ. He continues His work through the ages to the present, giving life, purifying hearts, empowering those who walk with him, providing healing spiritually, emotionally and physically. The Holy Spirit inspired the writings of the Christian Bible, and continues the work of revealing Jesus Christ and God’s truth to those who seek it.

Jesus Christ created a way for receiving and living out His salvation work by founding the Church, which is the gathered community of those who live in loving and obedient communion with Jesus Christ. Scripture describes the Church as being the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12,13,27; Eph. 4.1-6,12). God works in and through the Church. Community is vital for living the Christian life.
History has a beginning, a middle, and an end. God is providentially guiding events, working with those who are willing to love and obey Him, to bring about a good end to what He has started. At the second coming of Jesus Christ, all humans who have ever lived will stand before the Judgment of Jesus Christ, who will reveal the truth of each human heart. The dead will be resurrected. Those who embrace Jesus Christ and enter into loving communion with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit will enjoy an eternal life of glory, love, joy, and goodness. Those who reject Jesus Christ, who refuse the love of God and of others, will suffer eternally, being tortured by their own hatred, their own evil, and by the continual love of God poured out on them, which they will experience as suffering.
