We offer high quality material to help you learn transformational principles and an approach that can change your life.
Do you want to experience real change in your life?
You are about to learn how to experience lasting transformation instead of “just trying harder”… I would like to reveal to you the little known truth of how real life change happens and how you can experience this lasting change for yourself.
In fact, with these principles you will be able to enjoy transformation without resorting to just “striving” and “trying harder” in your own strength to make a difference in your life.
This program is for anyone who is tired of striving and trying to create change in their life without experiencing that change from within.
You see… so many of us have tried to change how we feel, change negative thoughts, and certain behaviors or relational responses only to find ourselves starting from square one at some point in the future.
The truth is that we have typically only tried to change ourselves behaviorally, even our thought life, without experiencing transformation from within, from the inside out…
This program is for everyone, both you and me, who desire to experience lasting change in our lives…

A Different Process Toward Change
How does true transformation take place? How do we experience lasting change?
I discovered transformation was almost always connected with experiences in individual’s relationship with God. As each individual internalized God’s truth and love in transformational ways, their lives were changed. This process was both relational and experiential. It was far different than trying to think differently, behave or respond differently in one’s own strength.
I began to see a difference in people who internalized truth versus trying to convince or tell themselves the truth. The former was done relationally and experientially with God. The latter was done more in one’s own strength.
I discovered the fact that the performance based culture around us has had a profound impact on how we look at change and what the actual process looks like. Performance orientation is rampant in our society. Most of us are on this continuum whether we know it or not. It is like being a frog in a kettle… So performance based solutions abound in Christianity.
Over the years, I have found out the process to authentic change is much different than what we find communicated in most self-help and personal development books. When you take a look at what the process of change looks like in Christian books versus non-Christian books, they are mostly identical.
Sure Christian books will encourage one to spend more time in prayer, reading the Bible and other spiritual practices. But when you take a closer look at the steps to take in addressing a life struggle or actual descriptions of what change looks like, it is mostly the same.
A person is left trying harder to be good, be better, be healthier, have better relational responses… All in his or her own strength. There is a lot of self-effort in these approaches. What is missing is addressing these very issues of our lives in the context of our relationship with God.
We need a process that is both relational and experiential to help us internalize truth. For some of us, we know the truth in our mind or head, but it hasn’t become heart knowledge yet. I discovered that most methods or strategies for change in the culture around us, including the Christian culture and even counseling tend to be primarily cognitive or left brain strategies. And that the experiential and relational approaches to change are right brain strategies.
So this is the problem. We have been engaging in the wrong type of process to initiate and begin creating change in our lives. We need to start with a right brain strategy and then live in a different way (left brain) which will create new neural pathways and essentially rewire our brain.
About 20 years ago, I was introduced to a way of helping others process their fear, anxiety, failures, anger, grief and sorrow in their relationship with God. A way to internalize truth both relationally and experientially with God. This would create the lasting change and authentic transformation people longed for. These principles were a much different process than performance based solutions.
So this performance orientation is a dead end. It begins and ends with self-effort. That is why even successful people around us can be left with an emptiness inside. We do need a different process toward change that isn’t performance based.
To address this concern and need, I have recently created a Membership Program and Course Area called The Transformational Journey.
We need a process of experiencing and internalizing truth like what is communicated in Romans 12:2.
Many English translations communicate it as “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” The original language behind the English text is actually Greek and the verb “be transformed” is actually in the passive voice.
The following English translation really captures the passive voice, the reality of the action being done to us:
“Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think” (NLT)
So what does this mean?
The passive voice means the action is being done to us. Yet many Christians tend to look at that passage as being in the active voice, meaning the action is initiated by an individual seeking to change.
Another verse that shows the passive voice regarding transformation is 2 Cor 4:16.
I believe this helps us uncover the missing necessary ingredient to change in our lives. We need God to transform us from the inside out by changing the way we think. This isn’t self-effort on our part, but an encountering of truth both experientially and relationally. This happens both with God and with others.
So how do we create this type of experience that is transforming?
It has everything to do with how we position ourselves… How we position our hearts and our lives before God and others that creates this change. In our relationship with God, it looks like prayer. Having God be a part of the conversation regarding what we are struggling with and where change is needed.
